Two things you should know this week-- #1 - Charles is growing a beard. He claims a razor will not touch his face until 3 days before his thesis presentation (May 2007!). So far, three people have put $50 down that he won’t last. That means he’s sporting the sasquatch look for a mere $150. Let’s make this a little more exciting-- call his hairy bluff and to join in on the bet.
Next up, in case you weren’t aware, next week is Thanksgiving. Some veggie-lover put this “save tom turkey” campaign in the ITP hallway. Next to it they drew a (very good) picture of a turkey. This weekend I erased the neck on the turkey, and replaced it with a butcher knife and blood. When I got to school on Monday the butcher knife had been replaced with bandages around the turkey’s neck. I don’t have time for these games, so today I took care of business and put that turkey where he belongs.
In the oven. As you can see-- I’m not a very good artist, so I had to write the word “oven” on my oven. This year I’m not flying home for Thanksgiving....still deciding where to go. Feel free to invite me to dine with your family-- but not if you’re eating tofu or something- I’ll only come if you’re planning on cooking up our friend Tom. And PS-- I make a mean apple pie.
